# Countries and languages a project can track

> `countries` are lowercase ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 codes, `languages` lowercase ISO 639-1 codes. A project’s `country` and `language` must be one of them.

The response carries an `ETag`. Send it back in `If-None-Match` to get `304` when the lists did not change.
