# Quickstart

> Go from a new SEOmator account to the first AI visibility numbers for your site on the Insights report.

Create an account, set up your first project and see how often ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Gemini name your brand. Most of the time goes into reviewing what SEOmator writes for your site; the first answers then arrive within a few minutes.

## Before you start

* An email address or a Google account.
* The domain of the site you want to track, for example `example.com`.
* If a teammate invited you, open their invitation instead. See [Sign up and sign in](https://docs.seomator.com/getting-started/sign-up.md).

## Get your first numbers

**1. Create your account**

Go to [app.seomator.com/sign-up](https://app.seomator.com/sign-up). Enter
your **Name**, **Email** and **Password** and click **Create account**, or click
**Continue with Google**. If you used email, open the link SEOmator sends
you to verify your address.

You see **Create your organization**.

**2. Create your organization**

Enter an **Organization name**, for example your company name, and click
**Create organization**.

You see **Pick a plan to try**.

**3. Start a trial**

Click **Start my 14-day trial** on the plan you want, or click **Continue
with Free**. To compare the plans first, see
[Plans and credits](https://docs.seomator.com/getting-started/plans.md).

You see the Projects page with **No projects yet**.

**4. Add your site**

Click **New project**. Enter a **Name** and **Domain**, then click **Create
project**.

SEOmator opens the project's setup and starts reading your site.

**5. Review the setup**

Check what SEOmator found in each step: **Profile**, **Search Console**,
**Competitors**, **Keywords** and **Prompts**. Fix anything that is wrong
and click **Looks good** on the profile and **Continue** on the other
steps. Search Console is optional: click **Skip for now** to go on without
it. Your own brand must be in the competitors list. For
what each step does, see [Projects and setup](https://docs.seomator.com/getting-started/projects.md).

You see **Start daily tracking** with a summary of your prompts, assistants,
brand, competitors and keywords.

**6. Start daily tracking**

Click **Start daily tracking**.

The project opens on its Insights report with **Collecting your first
answers** and a progress bar for each assistant. The page updates by itself.

**7. Read your first numbers**

When the run finishes, the Insights headline says how many answers name
your brand, for example "Named in 42 of 378 answers.", with your metric
tiles and your competitors next to you.

From now on, your prompts run once a day.
