# Billing

> See your plan, upgrade or downgrade, switch between monthly and yearly, buy credit packs and get your invoices.

The Billing page shows your organization's plan and lets you change it, buy credits and manage your payment details. One plan covers every project and member in the organization. For what each plan includes and costs, see [Plans and credits](https://docs.seomator.com/getting-started/plans.md).

In the sidebar, click your name and select **Organization settings**, then click **Billing** in the settings sidebar.

## Plan header

The plan header shows your current plan and its status:

* On a subscription: "Billed monthly · renews Dec 1" or "Billed yearly · renews …".
* During a trial: how many days are left and when it ends.
* After a cancel: "Ends" and the last day of the plan.

**View usage** opens [Usage](https://docs.seomator.com/settings/usage.md). **Manage** opens the Stripe billing portal.

During a trial or on Free, the plan card in the sidebar shows your plan, and during a trial the days left. Click **Subscribe** or **Upgrade** on it to open the plans on this page.

## Plan

The **Plan** section lists the plans, with a **Monthly** / **Yearly** switch. Your current plan shows **Current plan**. A scheduled change shows as "Moves to … on …" in the **Plan** section.

| Change | When it starts |
| - | - |
| A bigger plan, or monthly to yearly | Now. Your card is charged the difference for this period, and you get the extra credits. |
| A smaller plan, or yearly to monthly | When the current period ends. You keep your current plan until then. |

**Compare plans** lists every limit, plan by plan. For Enterprise, click **Talk to us**.

## Credit packs and costs

**Credit packs** sells one-time packs of credits for work beyond your plan. **What credits buy** lists the credit cost of each action.

## Subscribe or change your plan

**1. Choose the billing interval**

In the **Plan** section, choose **Monthly** or **Yearly**.

**2. Choose a plan**

Without a subscription, click **Subscribe** on a plan and pay on the
checkout page. With a subscription, click **Upgrade** or **Downgrade**.

**3. Confirm**

Read the confirmation and click **Upgrade** or **Downgrade** again.

The new plan shows **Current plan**, or a downgrade shows as "Moves to … on …".

## Cancel a scheduled change

In the **Plan** section, click **Keep current plan**. The scheduled change is removed and you stay on your current plan.

## Buy a credit pack

**1. Choose a pack**

Under **Credit packs**, click **Buy** on a pack.

**2. Pay**

Pay on the checkout page.

You come back to Billing. Your plan and credits appear in a few seconds.

## Update payment details, get invoices or cancel

With a subscription, click **Manage** in the plan header. It opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can:

* update your card,
* see and download invoices,
* add a tax ID,
* cancel your subscription.
