You need an account to use SEOmator. You can sign up with your email address or with your Google account.

Create an account

Open the sign-up page

Go to app.seomator.com/sign-up. From the sign-in page, click Create account next to “No account yet?”.

Enter your details

Enter your Name, Email and Password. The password needs at least 8 characters. Then click Create account.

Verify your email

SEOmator sends a link to your address. Open it to verify your email and sign in.
To use Google instead, click Continue with Google and choose your Google account. You don’t need to verify your email or choose a password.

Create your organization

After your first sign-in, SEOmator asks you to create an organization. Projects, API keys and billing belong to an organization, and you can invite your team to it later.

Name the organization

On Create your organization, enter an Organization name, for example your company name.

Create it

Click Create organization.
If someone already invited you, the page shows You have an invitation with your role. Click Join to join their organization instead. Next, SEOmator shows Pick a plan to try. See Plans and credits.

Sign in

Open the sign-in page

Go to app.seomator.com/sign-in.

Enter your email and password

Enter your Email and Password and click Sign in, or click Continue with Google.
SEOmator opens your organization. If you sign in before you verified your email, SEOmator sends a new verification link. Open it, then sign in again.

Reset a forgotten password

Request a link

On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?. Enter your Email and click Send reset link.

Open the email

If an account exists for that address, a reset link is on its way. Open it.

Choose a new password

Enter a New password and click Save password. You return to the sign-in page.
If the page says “This reset link is invalid or has expired.”, click Send reset link to get a new one.
If you signed up with Google, you have no password yet. You can set one on Security.

Enter a two-factor code

When two-factor authentication is on for your account, SEOmator asks for a code after your password.

Enter the code

Open your authenticator app and enter the code in Code from your authenticator app.

Optional: trust this device

Select Trust this device for 30 days to skip the code on this device.

Verify

Click Verify.
Lost your phone? Click Use a backup code and enter one of the backup codes you saved when you turned two-factor on. Each backup code works once. To turn two-factor authentication on or off, see Security.
